Curator Pat Gloss made statement about my work at Hillyers Art Space. "Mei Mei Chang finds source in the multilayered patterns of her psyche. She traces the topography of transformation while deeply attuned to her internal landscape that is fertilized by both Eastern attachments to nature and Western perspectives separation from it. This site-specific installation maps the steel and concrete Phoenix that is change rising out of the rubble of the past."
