Collaboration piece with my students. It included paintings, tape drawing, and video work. Our mundane daily life is a routine we keep doing like a circle that never ends. From walking in the morning, getting ready to go to school, riding the metro or driving a car... From 8:30 to lunch, and lunch to afternoon, and after school and go home. The pattern of individuals and their repetitions each second, each minute, each hour and so froth. How can we simplify our daily routine from the complexity of daily life? The pattern is part of an individual's identity and forms one unit, like water. The process itself evokes that mechanical idea of making the subconscious speak to itself.
